As a parent in Borås, there are a few places that are hard to stay away from. Today I did my third visit for this year to one of those places, Borås Djurpark. Growing up in 033 it’s hard to stay away from the zoo, and a visit brings back many memories. One of the best is, quite strangly, shouting for echoes in the underpass between the pelicans and the real start to the zoo. Nowadays, two things bring me joy at the zoo. The first one is to see my little girl happy, the second one is to wield my camera.
Next to the zoo is a new theme park, Up Zone. I’ve done one of those high height obstacle courses a few years ago, and it was great fun.
However, I thought that some pictures from the zoo might brighten your day. Also, give me some comments about writing in English. Do you like it, or should I go back to write in Swedish?

There are a few reasons for writing in English. I like it more, my studies/work are mainly in English, the site name is in English, and I’ve been meaning to try it for a while. Also, just after posting this entry there was a request for English entries in ILB’s FB-group.
The camera is a Nikon D50. Sometimes the AF is a little bit slow and I’d like higher resolution for editing. However, even these low end cameras take great pictures.
